Human Resources Business Partner

We're partnering on an HR Manager/HRBP opportunity in Anchorage supporting a highly operational, field-heavy organization with a strong culture of ownership, accountability, and action.

This is not a maintenance HR role.

It's a high-impact HR position where you'll be embedded with business leaders across both corporate and field operations, serving as a trusted advisor and owning the full spectrum of HR support: employee relations, recruiting, leadership coaching, talent reviews, compensation, and workforce planning.

What you'll be doing

• Partnering directly with operations leaders and asset teams
• Leading full-cycle recruiting and hiring strategy for assigned groups
• Handling employee relations, investigations, and performance issues
• Coaching managers and supporting leadership development
• Running talent reviews, compensation cycles, and workforce planning
• Acting as the first line HR partner for assigned employee populations

What we're looking for:

We're open on level... either:

• Experienced HR Manager who wants to stay close to the business as an IC and grow over time
• OR
• Strong HR Generalist/HRBP with leadership potential and runway

• Mature, grounded, "adult in the room" presence
• Strong business partnership and communication skills
• Comfortable in direct, fast-moving operational environments
• Thick-skinned, pragmatic, and solutions-oriented
• Ability to build credibility quickly with field and operations leaders
• Action-oriented mindset (improves things, doesn't wait to be told)

Compensation

• Base salary approximately $120,000 - $160,000
• 20% Alaska uplift
• 30% target bonus
• Long-term incentive plan
• 7% 401(k) match
